Late war austerity type m/36 Field Hat, made out of mixed wool and processed fibers from rags. The sweatband is a simple burlap band. The liner itself is still typical cotton liner. The hat has retained the unworn wool condition and colour under tha side flaps. The hat itself is manufactured close to the same standard and pattern as the Armeijan Pukimo (AP) / Valtion Pukutehtaat <(VPu) hats. This is a fairly typical example of mid- to late war manufacture of Field hats.

The history of the hat is unknown, but it has Lagus arrows -badge on the side indicating it's been used by a soldier of the Armoured Division. The Ⓜ symbol shows the hat has been sold (Myyty) from the military inventories, perhaps to the owner during the demobilization.

This hat belongs to the collection of Parola Armour Museum.
