m/36 TunicType: m/36 Tunic (Asetakki m/36), Officers Material: Wool twill, synthetic silk full liner Manufacturer: I. E. Seligsonin Sotilaspukimo Manufacturing year: January 17th, 1944 Markings: Tailors label in the inner chest pocket, no other markings. Tailor made m/36 Tunic which has borrowed a number of details from older m/22 Tunics. The construction takes the basics of the m/22 Officer Tunic and then fits them to the m/36 standard. The collar is stiff and made in two parts and has studs for a detacheable shirt collar, much like many of the m/22 Tunics. The dart in the waist continues all the way to the collar allowing for a snug fit and there are no pleats in the back and no slots for belt hooks. The cuffs have a fake vent in them. The chest and shoulders are heavily constructed with padding and stiffening material. The liner is artificial silk and has one chest pocket on the left side and a m/22 style internal belt that holds the tunic snuggly closed. The buttons are all copper and have the tailors own label in them. |
