This coat has originally started its life as an enlisted mens overcoat, but has been converted to an officers overcoat by adding the Kapteeni (Captain) rank tresse to the sleeves. This was a common thing, as the enlisted mens overcoats tend to be less stiff - and wearing one in the front is more comfortable than the officers type. |
